Crispian Steele-Perkins is the man who plays the trumpet in the theme tune for the Antiques Roadshow.
This world-leading trumpet virtuoso has also played solo at concert halls from the Royal Albert Hall to Carnegie Hall, the Festival Hall to Sydney Opera House and alongside artists as varied as Kiri te Kanawa and Bryn Terfel, Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush and Lulu.
At Chobham he will be performing with one of the most renowned English church organists of his generation, Ian le Grice.
Ian has recently retired from London’s Temple Church where he has played a part over many years of the church’s distinguished history of organ music. He is Organist of Reigate St Mary’s Choir School, Musical Associate of the English Arts Chorale and accompanist to the St Cecilia Chorus and Croydon Philharmonic Choir.
The programme at Chobham will include pieces by Handel, Hadyn, Mozart, Bacharach and Howard Goodall.
