Bellway join royalty to celebrate charity’s 40th birthday

Written by

This week Bellway celebrated with Quest Group, part of the national charity Riding for the Disabled, to mark the 40th anniversary since the group opened its doors and started changing the lives of children and adults with a range of disabilities in Chobham.

In attendance at the celebrations, HRH The Princess Royal, President of the RDA (Riding for the Disabled), visited the local volunteer group Quest at Laris Farm in Windlesham Road, which works with disabled people to provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment with the help of a few four-legged friends.

Quest, one of over 500 RDA volunteer groups, organises a range of life-changing activities with horses and ponies such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting, show jumping and hippotherapy.  As a supporter of the charity, Bellway is one of the proud sponsors of the group’s sponsored ride taking place in Chobham later this year.

Zoe Dobbs, Sales Manager of Bellway Homes North London comments: “We are proud supporters of Quest as the voluntary RDA group makes such a difference to the lives of people with disabilities. It solely relies on the help of donations to deliver its services and we are delighted that we can be part of the celebrations as well as donating to such a worthwhile cause.

"Working with Quest is part of our commitment to supporting the communities in which we build and we were honoured to be able to enjoy the birthday celebrations with HRH The Princess Royal to reward the Quest volunteers who are truly selfless in their mission to light up the lives of the people they help throughout the year."

Bellway is currently building an exclusive range of four and five bedroom townhouses only a short distance away from Quest Group’s base. Due to the success of this development of 17 individually designed townhouses, situated in the highly desirable village of Sunninghill, only one five bedroom property is currently available. Priced at £1,224,995, The Eastwell has been designed for modern family living, with a large open plan living room, kitchen/breakfast room and every bedroom featuring and en-suite shower.

For further sales information, please visit the showhome which is open Thursday to Monday from 10 am to 5 pm.  Alternatively please visit www.bellway.co.uk/new-homes/north-london/claremont or call 0845 676 0254.
