Brilliant young Australian pianist David Soo, who is making an impression on the international music scene with an array of awards to his name, is one of the festival stars for 2019. He will be performing music from some of the Great Romantics of classical music, Liszt, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

Distinguished British classical guitarist Mark Ashford also has Chobham Festival in his 2019 diary of engagements. He is performing Rodrigo’s Guitar Concerto, accompanied by David Le Page and the Le Page String Ensemble.

Both these “Chobham Classics” concerts are at St Lawrence Church.

We are delighted to also present a festival Chobham Rock Choir Live, an afternoon of Betjeman poetry, a ukulele evening and three Young Chobham Festival events for children and families. As a “festival with soul”, the St Lawrence Harvest Festival Service and a Songs of Praise also feature.

This year will see three days of Flowers at Chobham Festival  - A Splash of Colour - and as always, we will be getting into the festival party spirit with a Village Hall Trad Jazz evening with Dave Stradwick and his fabulous Sussex Jazz Kings.
