One year ago, during March 2011, the Guardian Media Group decided that it was no longer viable to run the local newspaper; The Woking News and Mail. Readers ran a campaign to attempt to save the paper that was started in 1894.
Not long after the newspaper was closed down, a group got together an bought the name from the Guardian Media Group (read Martyn Stead's blog from the 12th April 2011).
Now, one year later, the Woking News and Mail (and the Chobham News and Mail) is back out in the shops, and will be printed every fourghtnight. Visit the website for full details: www.wokingnewsandmail.co.uk

I played rugby for chobham in 2001-2003. I'm looking for paper clips of the reports on the rugby. In particular about myself Malcolm in. I would love to post it on facebook and brag. I lost the clippings with all my travels. I'm from S.A..
