Superfast Fibre Broadband Superfast Fibre Broadband

Superfast fibre broadband is finally available in Chobham. If you have multiple devices connected to the Internet, it could be time to upgrade to the faster, more reliable fibre connection.

This means you will be able to get uninterrupted email and Internet access on your phones, TVs, tablets and games consoles; allowing you to share photos with friends online, stream HD movies, video call with family or colleagues, download games, or play online. The traditional broadband connection that you currently have in Chobham probably has a maximum download speed of about 14Mb - with fibre, it's 5x faster (72Mb).

Our Recomendation

We recommend Plus Net as your broadband ISP, as they are not only great for reliability and customer service, but they also have a special offer of 9 months unlimited fibre broadband with a £7 discount off each month. That gives you a download speed of up to 76Mb, and as much video streaming and downloading as you can manage! Simply visit and enter in your details to begin the order now.

What is Fibre Broadband?

You can learn more about fibre broadband on the BT Openreach website, and more about the Superfast Surrey project on

Who can get it?

In our original article back in June about the Superfast Surrey project, we had a difinative list of postcodes that would be available after the first phase of this rollout. I don't have an updated list of postcodes, but after a bit of a search with the checking tool it looks as though most of the village has been upgraded. To find out for sure you can go to and click on the "Start your order" button. This will let you put in your phone number and postcode to confirm if fibre is available on your line.
