The 2017 Spring open mornings for Coworth Flexlands School & Nursery will be Thursday 2nd & Saturday 4th March 9.30-11.30am

Coworth Flexlands School & Nursery is a caring, happy and successful independent preparatory school for girls 3 - 11 and boys 3-7 years.

Our foremost priority is to provide a secure and happy school life enabling our pupils to obtain skills to achieve heights in every discipline.

This success is a result of our philosophy that all pupils deserve the best and so are given high quality, specialist teaching across a broad curriculum. Threading through this central pillar of academic schooling the children are encouraged to develop social and emotional skills and good manners, all within a strong Christian & pastoral ethos that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Nestled between Chobham, Windlesham and Sunningdale we offer quick and easy access to the M3 yet we are in the heart of the countryside. Thirteen acres of beautiful grounds and proximity to Chobham Nature Reserve give ample opportunities for outdoor learning and sport.

Our spacious, light-filled classrooms with specialist teachers and small teaching groups provide an excellent academic learning environment. Our dedicated facilities for sports, sciences, computing, languages, music and the arts, compliment our academic programme. These combine to provide your child with a stimulating environment at Coworth Flexlands that builds a genuine passion for learning  and a curiosity beyond any syllabus.

We proudly hand our boys onto their chosen preparatory school at the age of seven knowing that they are skilled in academics, performance arts and sports and can bring much to their new schools. We are delighted to receive feedback that our boys continue with a strong work ethic and a maturity and confidence that gives them a robust platform from which to leap forward in the next stage of their educational journey.

New girls join us in Prep, aged seven, to take up all the advantages of a single-sex education at this impressionable time in their lives.  All-girl form classes mean greater diversification of talent, sports teams within each year group and  wider friendship circles all of which enhances development.

We split the forms for academic subjects knowing smaller groups can improve pupil attainment through the freedom to ask questions, discuss areas of difficulty and engage in the collaborative work that so motivates girls of this age. Whether it’s  Physics, Maths or English in a small set or coming together for Netball, Forest School, Dance or Drama we aim for the optimum group size. The continued specialist subject teaching and collaborative tracking of the girls’ progress across the whole curriculum ensures the learning path is seamless.

We are immensely proud of our girls when they leave us having secured places at a wide range of leading senior schools, many with scholarships or exhibitions. The polite confidence and self-assurance the girls take with them bear witness to the success of the educational experience we provide, with its focus on supporting the individual to take a full and active part in every aspect of our  broad and varied curriculum.

The best way to measure us is to talk to our pupils. We warmly invite you to Coworth Flexlands School to see how “It all Adds Up”. We are hosting our next Open Mornings on Thursday 2nd and Saturday 4th March 2017 9.30-11.30am. We also hold drop in tours every term time Thursday at 9.15 & 10.15am.  Please do come and visit us.  Contact our Registrar on 01276 855707. www.coworthflexlands.co.uk; @CoworthFlexSch
