It's current use as a book swap library has created a lot of interest and is proving very successful so the Parish Council wanted to enhance its new found popularity by returning the phone box to its former glory. The new window panes have already been replaced and you will notice it being painted this weekend (7th to 10th November 2014).
Whilst being painted, the books shall be stored in the Pavilion and therefore not available. They shall of course be returned once the paint is dry!
We are so pleased that this has become part of Chobham village life and would like to thank the book fairy who started it.
