What is a Neighbourhood Plan?
The Borough Council produced a Local Plan for the whole of Surrey Heath for the period 2011 to 2028 which was published last year and which
affects Chobham as elsewhere. Under the Localism Act, Chobham now has the opportunity to prepare a more detailed Neighbourhood Plan to fit with the broad requirements of the Borough Local Plan.
Please take this opportunity to visualise a future for chobham between now and 2028 that includes the needs of everyone who lives, works, studies shops or visits here.

Your Ideas Wanted
No matter how wacky, way out, romantic, radical, imaginative, ambitious, practical, obvious or basic. What, for instance, have you seen elsewhere that could work well here, regardless of cost?
Your ideas will help with the preparation of an evidence base for the Neighbourhood Plan upon which the whole village will be consulted before the Plan goes before a planning inspector and a referendum in the village with the Plan being adopted only with majority support.
How To Have Your Say?
Come along to this event where there will be interesting slides, videos, aerial photos and maps past and present to stir your imagination. You can if you wish discuss your ideas with others, record in writing or contribute confidentially via a suggestion box.
