This year the annual Chobham Christmas late night event is being held on Friday 6^th December.

Andrew and Paul started Brilliant Bikes selling spares and accessories on the Internet five years ago. Now they are opening a shop in Chobham, which is where they live, in the old Flora Lou shop int he High Street, next door to What Nots.

Fans of the world renowned Dr Vranjes home fragrance collection will be delighted to know that a selection of his home fragrance diffusers are now available in Chobham, at the recently opened Whitedown Interiors on the High Street.

Chobham shops are putting on an Easter Eggs-travaganza on Easter Saturday, following the success of the Christmas open evening.

The fun starts at 10am and includes an Easter treasure hunt with clues in shop windows and a prize of a trip to Legoland, face painting at the Velvet Rooms hairdresser, chocolate making at Pasha and an invitation to visit the Easter bunny in his warren at What-Nots.

There is a merry go round and an Easter bonnet competition at St Lawrence Church at 3pm. Proceeds will be going to Surrey Search and Rescue.

The annual Chobham Christmas Extravaganza 2012 kicks off at 3pm on Friday, 7^th December 2012.  Festive cheer carries on throughout the High Street until 8:30pm. And parking is free! (view the village map for directions to the car park).

This year there will be a Christmas Market open in the courtyard off the High Street, behind Melita, and it wouldn't be Christmas without a visit from Santa Clause! Father Christmas will be in his grotto.

The eco-credentials of The Southern Co-operative’s new community food store in Chobham have been central to the store’s development, which opens on Wednesday 12 December 2012.

A Visit to Chobham's Country Market

The Chobham Country Market is a treat for those who have the time to visit Thursday mornings (& for those who don't, I highly recommend making the time to!).  It's one of the few markets where everything sold is not only made or grown by hand, but also where you can talk to the producers.  In an era of mass-produced, mass-marketed, imported goods, the charm & quality of the Chobham Country Market is irreplaceable.
