On display now, collections of cigarette cards from the late 19th century and early 20th century.

New Exhibition in the Chobham Museum!

The Chobham Museum is hosting a new exhibition of cigarette card collections. The exhibition includes impressive collections in albums as well as complete sets mounted in frames.

Cigarette cards were first introduced in 1875. About fifteen years after that the first full collectable sets of cards were produced in the UK. This first set being 'Castles and Abbeys'.

Impressive Collections

Although the first ever set isn't in the exhibition! There are many fascinating sets on display, including sets of sports personalities such as famous boxers, footballers and cricketers, soldiers and battle ships.

This exhibition is only on display for a limited period, so don't hesitate to visit the museum or you will miss out.
