Gordons School

Gordon's was founded in 1886 by public subscription, at the express wish of Queen Victoria, as the National Memorial to General Charles Gordon, who was killed at Khartoum in January 1886. Since its foundation the School has been privileged to have the reigning Monarch as its Patron.
